Schatzie

also known as Tollcross Trilight

schatzie joined the household when élan was a year old. She was a completely different character. Extremely outgoing and boisterous, and sometimes naughty with strange dogs, but she absolutely adored all people. She was bred by Mary Greening (Tollcross). Like élan we showed her for a couple of years She did a little better than him, but unfortunately her conformation and movement were not really good enough for the show ring, although she really did enjoy it.

We bred one litter from schatzie, looking for dogs whom we liked for temperament, breed type, conformation and movement. She had five pups and we kept a black dog, peritas.

She lived for over 14 years, dying only in 1996.
