peritas was our first home bred dog, and the first to qualify to go to Crufts – back in the days when Crufts was in London at Earls Court and qualification meant only a first in certain classes at championship shows.
He was a very easy dog to live with (thanks to his sire Ch Tantivvey Target of Olbero, owned by Jean and Peter Rance), loving both his canine and human friends.
He had a lovely head and expression, and the most wonderful movement – absolutely true fore and aft with the hind legs tracking the fore and he also moved with drive. Like élan he was the correct height.
His pedigree was beautifully line bred back to the famous dog Ch Colonsay April Jest and we were greatly saddened that he was never used at stud.
