Zaffre was mated nine weeks ago. She is blooming – rather rotund – and she has slowed down quite a bit. Mary is not sure whether this is because of the heat we have lately or the fact that she is so porky.

Calm down, dear, as Michael Winner might say on the television. Zaffre is very relaxed and happy, though I think she is tired. As I look at her she is nodding off, as they do. More will be forthcoming, once something happens.
